The Bixby Band Parents Organization (BBPO) exists to provide physical and financial support to every aspect of the band program. Membership in the BBPO is free and automatic for any parent or guardian of a student involved in instrumental music. BBPO activities include operating the concession stands at all Bixby home football games, cleaning and maintaining band uniforms, providing food and refreshments during practices and competitions, constructing show props and flags, setting up and removing on-field props at half-time shows and competitions, assisting with travel, and engaging in fund-raising activities throughout the year to help defray costs that would otherwise be passed on to students and their families.
